about

On his second release "Versoehnung", Jesse Braverman (aka Limland) grows in an orchestral direction. The seeds for this lush instrumental approach were planted in interludes on Limland’s debut album "Open, Treasure Ellery", and are developed in full bloom on the sophomore recording "Versoehnung". Here, Braverman shifts away from overdub perfectionism in favour of the organic performance of a live orchestra.

"Versoehnung" is a symphony composed by Jesse Braverman. It is a three-movement orchestral composition with a total duration of circa 16 minutes. The first movement bears the same title as the symphony itself, "Versoehnung".

"Versoehnung" means reconciliation in German. It deals with Braverman confronting a part of his identity which he once struggled with, but ultimately learned to accept.
